Manchester United talisman set for MLS switch

Manchester United striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic will move to MLS giants LA Galaxy when his current one-year deal at Old Trafford expires, according to Spanish publication FOX Deportes.

The powerhouse Swede has been an unwavering success following his summer arrival at the club, scoring more Premier League goals (15) than any other United player since the start of last season.

United are keen to retain Ibrahimovic’s services for another 12 months, with the 35-year-old hinting that he would extend his stat in Manchester beyond the end of the campaign.

The former Barcelona and PSG striker has previously been linked with a move to MLS, with a move perhaps coming to fruition sooner than many had expected.

His exit would come as a blow to United, with Ibrahimovic (7.44) the club’s second highest rated player in the Premier League this season.
