West Ham have reached an agreement with Bayern Munich to sign right-back Noussair Mazaraoui, reports Sky Germany.
The Hammers had been in talks to sign a number of right-sided defenders in recent weeks, including Southampton’s Kyle Walker-Peters and Manchester United’s Aaron Wan-Bissaka, but it looks as though they have got their man in Noussair Mazraoui.
Reports from Germany suggest that Julen Lopetegui’s side will pay €15.5 million plus a further €4 million in add-ons for the former Ajax full-back.
It is also claimed that West Ham have an agreement in principle with Mazraoui regarding personal terms.
Though not a done deal at this stage, due to financial details needing to be finalised, it looks to be heading in the right direction for West Ham.
Thursday’s report also states that Manchester United remain interested in the Moroccan international, but West Ham are firmly leading the race now.
