Leny Yoro Man Utd Transfers News: Teenage centre-back close to move
Leny Yoro has completed his medical ahead of his move to Manchester United, reports Sky Sports.
Real Madrid had been the frontrunners to sign the 18-year-old this summer but United have stolen a march on the La Liga giants in the race to land Yoro.
United on Wednesday agreed a £50m fee with Lille for Yoro, who was also linked with a move to Premier League rivals Liverpool earlier this summer.
Yoro had preferred a move to Real Madrid but United worked hard to convince the teenager to move to Old Trafford.
United are in the market for centre-backs this summer with Matthijs de Ligt and Jarrad Branthwaite also on the club's radar.
"To secure the signature of Yoro ahead of Real Madrid - the club renowned for hoovering up the globe’s best young talent - would signal a major coup for United." 🗣️@samhmnd profiles 18-year-old Lille defender Leny Yoro, who now looks set for a €62m move to #MUFC. 👇

However, while they are confident of securing De Ligt from Bayern Munich, Everton have remained steadfast over Branthwaite, with the Toffees rejecting two bids from United for the England international.
Comfortable in possession, Yoro returned the best pass success rate (92.2%) of those to make 25 or more starts in Ligue 1 last season.
