Chelsea and Manchester United target discusses his future after star showing
Chelsea and Manchester United target Kai Havertz remained coy when asked about his future at Bayer Leverkusen after playing his part in their 3-1 win at Gladbach.
Havertz is in high demand across the continent and the 20-year-old's stock soared further after yet another brace on Saturday.
The youngster has made a flying start to action following the restart of the Bundesliga and now has four goals in two appearances to his name.
Havertz is aware that he has a big decision to make on his future very soon, but refused to divulge too much on his plans once the season draws to a close.
"I do not like to say, of course, that there is a lot of speculation," Havertz told Sky via The Metro after Saturday's crucial win at Gladbach.
"I’m concentrating on this season and will see what happens afterwards. I am very grateful to Leverkusen and I don’t want to mess it up in any way.
"We’re happy about the win. We put it on ourselves to win here and we did that.
"We had to really give everything today and I think we deserved to win in the end."
Former Bayer Leverkusen forward Dimitar Berbatov last week warned Havertz against a move to the Premier League this summer, a sentiment echoed by ex-Germany international Jens Nowotny.
