Moutinho’s arrival strengthens Wolves’ Portuguese core at the club, meaning Nuno now has seven players of Portuguese descent to pick from ahead of the new campaign.

He started two games for Portugal at the 2018 World Cup, providing one assist in that time. Furthermore, only two Monaco players supplied more assists than Moutinho in Ligue 1 last season (6).
