Nabil Bentaleb has signed a new five-year deal at Tottenham Hotspur.
The Algeria international established himself as a first team regular at White Hart Lane under Mauricio Pochettino and has been rewarded for his fine performances with a new contract.
"I’d like to say thanks to the club, thanks to my family and thanks to the fans for the support," the 20-year-old midfielder tweeted from his official account on Monday night after the news was confirmed.
Bentaleb averaged more passes per league game (61) of all Tottenham players last season.
Bentaleb’s new contract with the north London side ties him to the club until 2020.
