Tottenham are considering a surprise January swoop for Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy, according to The Mirror.
Vardy has been in stunning form for the Foxes this season, netting 10 league goals, a return bettered only by Bayern Munich's Robert Lewandowski (13) in Europe's top 5 leagues.
His performances have not gone unnoticed, with Spurs now considering a move for the England international when the transfer window reopens.
The 28-year-old's work ethic would suit Mauricio Pochettino's high-pressing game and provide some much-needed competition for Harry Kane up front.
Spurs appear light up top this season after missing out on Saido Berahino over the summer and have since turned their attention to Vardy.
Leicester boss Claudio Ranieri would be loathe to losing his prized asset in the New Year, with reports suggesting the Leicester boss could demand at least £15m for the striker.
