Borussia Dortmund have confirmed they have won the race to sign sought after French striker Ousmane Dembele.
Dembele, 18, has been linked with nearly all of Europe’s biggest clubs this season after a stunning breakthrough campaign with Rennes in Ligue 1.
Liverpool, Leicester and Bayern Munich are among the teams that have previously expressed an interest in the France Under-21 international but they have missed out on the striker.
Dembele has put pen to paper on a five-year deal with the Bundesliga giants in a reported €25m (£19.6m).
No player aged 21 and under has scored more goals across Europe’s top five leagues than Dembele (12).
