Everton complete Bolasie signing

Everton have announced they have signed Yannick Bolasie from Crystal Palace in a deal worth a reported club record £25m.

Bolasie, 27, has put pen to paper on a five-year deal with the Toffees keeping him at Goodison Park until June 2021.

Everton manager Ronald Koeman has already signed Ashley Williams, Idrissa Gueye and Maarten Stekelenburg this summer with more through the door but this is a player he admits he has been tracking for a long time.

“Yannick is a player who has been a long time on my radar because he’s the type of winger I like – fast, strong and he can play different positions in the forward line,” Koeman told Everton’s official website. “He’s a really good signing for the club.

“At 27, he’s a good age and he has experience in the Premier League. He will give strength to the team and I’m very pleased to have Yannick as part of what we are trying to build here at Everton.”
