Stoke have announced club-record signing Giannelli Imbula has returned to France and joined Toulouse on a season-long loan deal.
Imbula joined Stoke in an £18.3m deal at the start of 2016 but has dropped completely out of favour under Mark Hughes since then.
The Potters have been actively looking to offload Imbula this summer and the 24-year-old has now secured a return back to Ligue 1.
Imbula made a name for himself in France for Marseille before securing a switch to Porto in 2015.
In fact, during his last season in Ligue 1, Imbula completed more dribbles than any other player (110).
