Thomas Lemar has brushed off failed moves to Liverpool and Arsenal insisting he is happy and focused on life at Monaco.
The France international was subject of intense deadline day interest from both Premier League clubs but failed to secure a move to England.
Lemar opened his account on the international stage with two goals in Frances’ 4-0 win over Holland on Thursday evening before talking about interest from the Premier League.
“I am a player of Monaco, I am very happy here,” Lemar told Canal+, via The Daily Telegraph.
“Now I’m going to make a good season with my club to try to progress and move forward in my career with Monaco.
“I am prepared for this game as usual. I do not lose my head, even if there are rumours. I was focused on my game, that’s all that mattered to me.”

Arsenal had a £90m bid accepted by Monaco on Thursday but a deal collapsed after the Gunners ran out of time to thrash out personal terms with the 21-year-old.
However, there were also reports suggesting Lemar turned down the chance to join Arsene Wenger’s side as they are not in the Champions League this season.
A move to Liverpool was reportedly his preferred choice but Jurgen Klopp’s side refused to match Arsenal’s British transfer record bid.
Since August 2016, Lemar has made the most key passes (87) of players aged 23 and under in Europe’s top five leagues.
