United defender suffers serious training ground injury

Manchester United could be without Marcos Rojo for the foreseeable future after the Argentine suffered a serious shoulder injury in training, reports the Daily Mirror.

Rojo, 25, has missed United’s last two matches but is now set to be out for ‘weeks’ after suffering another shoulder problem 13 months to the day that he dislocated his shoulder.

The Argentina international has impressed in his five league starts this season having looked likely to move on from the club over the summer.

However, the versatile defender has added to Van Gaal’s injury woes, leaving United particularly short at left-back with Luke Shaw already out.
