Hull City stage audacious bid for former Manchester United winger

Hull City have made a dramatic late move for former Manchester United winger and Valencia summer signing Nani, according to The Daily Mail.

Nani only joined Valencia in the summer following a star performance in Portugal’s Euro 2016 triumph but has underwhelmed at Los Che and is now being lined up with a sensational return to the Premier League.

The 30-year-old hasn’t played in the Premier League since leaving United in 2014 but is wanted by Hull boss Marco Silva, who previously managed the Portugal international during his stint as Sporting manager in the 2014/15 campaign.

Hull have already been busy in the transfer market but are still looking to bolster their squad in the remaining hours of deadline day in a bid to enhance their chances of beating the drop, particularly having lost star duo Robert Snodgrass and Jake Livermore.

No Valencia player has registered more assists than Nani in La Liga this season (5).
