Juventus are weighing up a move for Ajax duo Jaïro Riedewald and Davy Klaassen, according to Tuttosport.
Riedewald, 19, and Klaassen, 22, are some of Ajax’s highest rated players according to WhoScored (7.33 and 7.43, respectively) and are currently on Juventus’ radar after extensive research.
However, according to the Italian paper, it is Klaassen that Juventus are leaning towards signing when the January transfer window opens as they look to strengthen their troublesome midfield.
The reigning Serie A champions have started the season terribly and are already 10 points behind current league leaders Fiorentina having lost three of their opening seven matches.
Klaassen, in particular, has started the season well. In fact, no Ajax player has registered more assists in the league this season than the Dutch midfielder (3) and likewise, no teammate is creating more chances per game (1.6) than Klaassen.
