Paris Saint-Germain interested in two Premier League targets
Paris Saint-Germain are interested in signing Anderlecht midfielder Leander Dendoncker or Sporting ace William Carvalho as they continue their extensive search for Thiago Motta’s long-term replacement, reports Canal.
Grzegorz Krychowiak was signed from Sevilla last summer in a bid to compete with Motta but the Poland international is free to leave the Ligue 1 giants after making no lasting impression at the club.
Unai Emery is determined to find a long-term successor for Motta this summer and is now weighing up a move for either Dendoncker or Carvalho after Monaco ruled out the sale of Fabinho to their rivals.
Anderlecht manager Herman Van Holsbeeck has already conceded the club would listen to offers for Dendoncker in the region of €35m (£31.3m) but their intention is to keep the highly rated 22-year-old.
Emery’s side are also considering a move for Carvalho, who has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League in recent years, and is also on Juventus’ radar this summer.
The 25-year-old won possession in the middle third of the pitch more times (172) than any other player in the Portuguese Liga NOS last season.
