Newly promoted Watford have made their 10th signing of the summer after signing Dutch forward Steven Berghuis from AZ Alkmaar for a fee reportedly in the region of £4.6m.
Berghuis, 23, finished the Eredivisie season as AZ Alkmaar’s highest rated WhoScored player (7.47) and has put pen to paper on a four-year deal at Vicarage Road.
The Dutch forward, who has represented the Netherlands at both U'19 and U'21 level, has the ability to play right the way across the frontline, but has made his biggest impact on the right hand side, where nine of his 11 league goals came from last season.
