AC Milan line up Joe Hart as unlikely Donnarumma replacement
AC Milan are reportedly lining up replacements for want away keeper Gianluigi Donnarumma, with The Express claiming that Joe Hart could be an option.
The 30-year-old spent last season in Serie A on loan at Torino but despite mixed reviews to say the least the rossoneri have been credited with an interest.
It comes in the aftermath of first choice shot stopper Donnarumma’s refusal of a new contract, so the Italian club are unsurprisingly looking for options early ahead of pre-season.
Hart is something of a surprising name to be linked given the fee that Manchester City are likely to ask for his services - believed to be in excess of £20m - and the fact that the England international made a number of mistakes in the previous campaign.
The City keeper started all but two league games for a side that conceded the fourth most goals in Italy’s top-flight (66), committing the third most errors leading to a shot in Serie A (7).
