Everton manager Ronald Koeman is hopeful of reuniting with Manchester United midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin at Goodison Park this summer, reports The Daily Mirror.
Koeman managed the France international during his first season at Southampton before Schneiderlin made a high profile move to United last season.
The newly appointed Everton manager is already looking to bolster his squad ahead of the new season as the Toffees look to put behind what was a disastrous campaign last term under Roberto Martinez.
Schneiderlin endured a frustrating first season at Old Trafford last season and it remains to be seen whether he features prominently in Jose Mourinho’s plans going forward.
Since August 2012 Schneiderlin has completed at least 61 more tackles and interceptions combined than any other player in the Premier League (770).
