Manchester United are demanding £6m for Marcos Rojo this summer, claims The Daily Mirror.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants to sign a new centre-back before next season but must first offload one.
United currently have five senior centre-backs at their disposal and at least one of Rojo or Eric Bailly must be sold this summer.
Rojo, who has struggled to stay fit for prolonged periods since joining United from Sporting in 2014, is the most likely to leave Old Trafford after falling completely out of favour under Solskjaer.
The Argentina international’s current United deal is due to expire in the summer of 2021 and the Red Devils have an option to prolong his stay by a further 12 months.
United will struggle to find suitors willing to pay a high fee and match Rojo’s current salary and are therefore asking for £6m in return for the 29-year-old.
Rojo has only started 63 out of a possible 190 league games since joining United after the 2014 World Cup.
In that time, United have only lost 12.7% of the matches he has started compared to 25.2% of the league games he has not started.
