Fulham wonderkid set for improved terms

Fulham want to reward Ryan Sessegnon with an improved long-term deal, claims the London Evening Standard.

Sessegnon is regarded as one of the best English prospects and has already been linked with moves to Tottenham and Manchester United in the past.

The 18-year-old ignored the allure of some of the biggest sides in the country to pen his first professional deal with Fulham in 2017.

Fulham spent more than £100m on new players during the summer but securing Sessegnon’s long-term future is still a priority.

Sessegnon has endured a difficult start to his Premier League career, only starting two of Fulham’s opening four league matches.

The teenager’s primary focus is helping Fulham establish their position in the Premier League but Fulham want his future resolved quickly.

Since making his league debut for Fulham during the 2016/17 campaign, Sessegnon has scored 21 league goals and provided 12 assists in 79 league games.
