Thiago Silva has told Sport et Style he would welcome Cristiano Ronaldo to Paris, heightening speculation of the Portuguese moving to PSG.
The Real Madrid star has been strongly linked with a move to the reigning French champions amidst reports that talks are ongoing about a potential deal.
When the 31-year-old defender was asked if he is hopeful that a deal can be struck that would see Ronaldo move to France, Silva replied: "Of course.
"It's better to play with him than against him.
"I hope that his agent will find a solution with our president so that he might come to play here.
"Paris Saint-Germain are the team of the moment."
Ronaldo has been in great form for Madrid this season, with his seven La Liga goals bettered only by Barcelona's Neymar (8).
