Chelsea star wants to play for other clubs

Real Madrid have been given encouragement in their pursuit of Eden Hazard after the Premier League star revealed he wants to play for other clubs during his career.

Hazard, who was nullified in the 2-0 defeat to Manchester United on Sunday, has been heavily linked with a move to Madrid in the summer after returning to his best this season.

The Belgium international has previously remained tight lipped about his future but has dropped a bombshell on Chelsea after conceding he is unlikely to spent the rest of his career at Stamford Bridge.

“When my name is not being talked about in relation to PSG, then it is in relation to Real, the next day maybe it is Bayern,” Hazard told French outlet Telefoot, via Get French Football.

“Strangely last year my name was not being talked about in relation to anybody. I may also have personal ambitions to play at other clubs. But I am trying to focus on the present, to finish well with Chelsea this year.

“I have a contract until 2020. For the moment, I am here and I am good here.”

Hazard is one of six players up for the end of season PFA Player of the Year in the Premier League this season and will be the clear favourite to land the gong for the second time in his career if Chelsea successfully win the league title, although their lead is now only four points at the top of the table following defeat to United this weekend.

Nevertheless, Hazard has been in superb form all season despite the blow on Sunday. He is the highest rated player in the league this season (7.86) after scoring 14 goals and registering five assists in 30 appearances. Not only that, but only Adama Traore (133) has completed more dribbles (126) than the Chelsea ace.
