Swansea serious contenders for Chelsea and Liverpool target
Swansea are serious contenders to sign wantaway Bayern Munich midfielder Renato Sanches, reports Wales Online.
The Portugal international is keen to leave the Bundesliga side in search of regular first team football, with a move to the Premier League on the cards.
Chelsea and Liverpool have both been linked with a move for Sanches, though the duo are yet to firm up their rumoured interest in the youngster.
However, Swansea have emerged as a credible destination for Sanches, with much of that owing to the relationship between Paul Clement and Bayern boss Carlo Ancelotti.
The duo worked together at Chelsea, Real Madrid, PSG and Bayern, before leaving to take over at Swansea last season.
Clement reiterated his desire to add to his squad after he oversaw a 2-0 win at Crystal Palace on Saturday, with a creative midfielder a priority.
The Swans boss worked closely with Sanches during their short time together at Bayern Munich and would be able to offer the former Benfica man regular first team action.
