Sevilla to offer escape route to Chelsea outcast

Sevilla have emerged as surprise suitors for out-of-favour Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas, according to Fichajes, via AS.

Fabregas, 28, has fallen way down the pecking order under new manager Antonio Conte this season and looks destined to leave the club before the start of next season.

The Spain international has been working hard to force his way into Conte’s plans at Chelsea but the former Barcelona midfielder is reportedly open to a return to his homeland.

AC Milan are also thought to be in the running for Fabregas but they could now face competition in January from Sevilla.
