Manchester United forward determined to be Old Trafford success

Marcus Rashford has no immediate plans to quit Manchester United despite calls for the striker to leave for regular first-team football, claims The Sun.

The 20-year-old has only started one Premier League game for United this season and was sent off during a 10-minute cameo against Burnley before the international break.

Rashford scored in both of England’s matches during the international break, prompting fresh calls for the youngster to escape Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford.

Mourinho thinks highly of Rashford and even awarded the youngster the No.10 shirt for this season, but he has struggled to find a defined role under the Portuguese.

Rashford has made more appearances under Mourinho than any other United player but nearly half of those have come from the substitute bench.

Despite calls to quit United, Rashford has no desire to leave his boyhood club and is determined to forge a long and successful career at the club.

While Rashford is willing to be patient this season, he will re-assess his United future next summer and will consider leaving if he is not a first-team regular by then.

Rashford has featured in more minutes for England (180) than United this season (122), also netting both of his goals for the campaign on duty with the Three Lions.
