Watford manager Quique Sanchez Flores is not concerned about bigger clubs trying to steal Odion Ighalo and Troy Deeney away from Vicarage Road in January.
The form of the Hornets duo has been integral to their early season form, and Flores is aware their performances will only court interest when the transfer window reopens in January.
However, the Watford boss insists the club are calm about the situation but is only focusing on their next matches.
“Anything can happen in football. You must be prepared for anything, but I Know a little bit about how the players are thinking. I can respect that Odion is completely passionate about this club. He is an intelligent person. And Troy is one of the main person in the spirit of the dressing room” Flores is quoted as saying by Sky Sports.
“To consider an offer is not just the point of the manager. Of course, we are talking about the general market every week with the owner and the sporting directors. But now we are focused on the matches.”
Between Deeney and Ighalo, they have scored 14 of Watford’s 17 goals in the Premier League this season.
