Bayern to make surprise swoop for Serie A frontman

Incoming Bayern Munich boss Carlo Ancelotti has informed the Bavarian giants to sign AC Milan striker Carlos Bacca this summer, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, via Sky Sports.

Bacca, 29, only joined Milan from Sevilla last summer but he has impressed under Sinisa Mihajlovic this season and his performances have seemingly caught the attentions of Ancelotti.

The former Milan manager will replace Pep Guardiola as Bayern manager at the end of the season and is keen to enlist the help of Bacca when he arrives.

Bayern could face competition from Arsenal, who are also believed to be tracking the Colombia international.
