Tony Pulis is keen to speak to West Bromwich Albion’s new Chinese owners as they near the completion of their £170m takeover, reports The Daily Telegraph.
The Premier League has approved Guochuan Lai’s proposed takeover bid and talks will be held with Pulis before West Brom take on West Ham on Saturday.
Pulis’ future at the club has been uncertain in recent weeks after being left frustrated by their transfer activity in the summer, although the 58-year-old has played down those reports.
West Brom have only won one of their opening four matches and the style of football played by Pulis is increasingly agitating fans. Since taking over as manager at the start of 2015, Pulis has won 33.3% of his matches in charge and in that time only four teams have kept more clean sheets in the Premier League than the Baggies (22).
