Inter linked with summer move for Barcelona youngster
Inter have joined the race to secure the services of young Barcelona left-back Lucas Digne, according to Fichajes.net.
The France international only moved to the La Liga outfit last summer, but head coach Ernesto Valverde is reportedly willing to cash in on Digne.
Digne played just a bit part role for the Blaugrana last season, making only 14 league starts as Barcelona failed to defend their top-flight crown.
The 23-year-old is one of three left-backs Inter are targeting this summer along with Dalbert and Jose Gaya of Nice and Valencia, respectively.
The Serie A outfit have been heavily linked with a host of Barcelona player this summer, with duo Aleix Vidal and Andres Iniesta thought to be high on Luciano Spalletti’s wish list this summer.
Dalbert remains the club’s priority signing, but Inter will turn their attention to Digne if they fail to land the Brazilian defender.
Barcelona paid Roma €16.5m to sign Diane last summer and they will want to recoup that fee before being convinced to sell.
