Claudio Ranieri has admitted his Leicester City side will struggle to retain the services of star midfielder N'Golo Kante this summer.
The tough-tackling 25-year-old, who recently earned his first France caps, has been a revelation for the Foxes following his arrival from Caen, gaining a WhoScored rating of 7.55 this season.
Indeed, his performances have attracted interest from some of the biggest club's in Europe and Ranieri has revealed Kante could leave the King Power Stadium this summer.
"I think he should rest [stay] here, he's working very well," Ranieri is quoted as saying by Sky Sports.
"But if big teams arrive that will give us a lot of money, maybe we can think about it if he's not happy and wants to go.
"I don't want sad people here - I want my players to be happy."
Kante's departure would come as a huge blow to Leicester, with the Frenchman playing a vital role in the club's welcome title pursuit.
The France international has made the most tackles (131) in the Premier League this season, while only Idrissa Gana (130) has made more interceptions (126).
