Leicester City are considering a move for former Manchester City combative midfielder Nigel De Jong, according to Calciomercato.
De Jong, 31, spent three years at City before moving to Milan in 2012, where he won the Premier League and the FA Cup.
The former Netherlands international has found game time hard to come by under Sinisa Mihajlovic and the Foxes could look to his experience if they are to realistically mount a title challenge.
In the 2011/12 season, only Leon Britton (93.4%) finished the campaign with a higher pass completion than De Jong (92.3%).
