Atletico Madrid interested in unhappy Southampton forward

Atletico Madrid are keeping taps on Dusan Tadic’s future at Southampton with a view to a summer move, reports Gol Digital, via AS.

Tadic, 28, has revealed his frustrations under current manager Claude Puel this season after struggling to establish himself as one of the club’s most important players.

The Serbia international’s unhappiness has put Atletico on alert, who are keen to see whether the creative midfielder is free to leave Saint Mary’s, although any move depends on whether they will be allowed to sign players this summer.

Diego Simeone’s side are still waiting to hear a decision from the Court of Arbitration for Sport on whether a FIFA-imposed transfer ban will prohibit them from register new players this summer.

In the last three Premier League campaigns only five players have creating more chances from open play than Tadic (168).
