Everton close in on Bolasie

Everton are confident of completing a move for Crystal Palace wideman Yannick Bolasie, reports the Guardian.

The Toffees’ initial bid of £17m was rejected by the Eagles, but they have since returned with a £28m, a fee that would match the figure paid for Romelu Lukaku two years ago.

Palace are negotiating how the deal would be structured, with manager Alan Pardew keen to use the money from Bolasie’s sale to fund his move for Christian Benteke.

Palace have also been offered Oumar Niasse on loan as part of the deal, though it remains to be seen whether they are keen on the Senegal international.
