Watford have announced Quique Sanchez Flores will be relieved of his first-team duties at the end of the season.
Flores, 51, was only appointed Watford manager last summer and successfully steered the Hornets to safety before the turn of the year.
However, Watford have been in freefall in 2016 and that has come at a cost to Sanchez Flores’ job, who will leave at the end of the season.
Former Inter manager Walter Mazzarri is the frontrunner to replace the Spaniard.
Since the start of the year only three teams have taken fewer points than Watford in the Premier League (15).
