Barcelona superstar aware of Manchester United’s growing interest
Neymar believes Manchester United would be willing to buy-out his €200m (£169m) Barcelona contract, reports The Daily Record.
United have been heavily linked with the 25-year-old in recent years but any interest looked to have fallen short after he put pen to paper on a new five-year deal back in October.
Jose Mourinho’s side are certainly capable of making a huge splash in the transfer window after breaking the world transfer record to re-sign Paul Pogba from Juventus last summer and are expected to go big again at the end of the season.
Neymar is reportedly aware of interest from United and Chelsea but Mourinho is understood to be personally pushing their interest in the Barcelona forward.
The Brazil international’s performances have come in for criticism this season but his output has still been extraordinary. Not only has Neymar completed the most dribbles in Europe’s top five leagues this season (143), but he has also registered 18 assists across league and European competition.
