Antonio Valencia says he is fine after limping off during Manchester United’s win away to West Brom on Sunday.
Jose Mourinho hinted after the match Valencia could be out for a long spell on the sidelines after suffering a 'December injury' in the second half of United’s 2-1 win.
Valencia’s absence over the busy festive period would have been a huge blow for United but the 32-year-old took to Instagram to allay injury fears.
“Three points a hard stadium. Thanks for your support and concern. I am fine and our Manchester United won!” he posted on his official Instagram account.
Valencia has established himself as one of the best right-backs in Europe during Mourinho’s reign of United.
In fact, he has scored as many Premier League goals this season (2) than in his previous three campaigns combined.
