Tottenham target Zaha reveals desire to leave Crystal Palace

Wilfried Zaha has left Crystal Palace stunned after revealing he wants to move on to bigger and better things.

Zaha is one of the best Premier League players outside the established top-six and Palace have successfully rebuffed interest from Tottenham in recent years.

Borussia Dortmund have reportedly earmarked Zaha as a potential transfer target this summer if they are forced to cash in on Jadon Sancho and the Palace star has confirmed his intentions to leave Selhurst Park.

“It gives me goosebumps seeing the crowds [in the Champions League], amazing stadiums,” he told The Daily Mail. “When I’m seeing players I think, ‘what would I do in that predicament?’

“I feel I can get to that stage, with the confidence I have and belief in my ability. I should be there. I’m missing out. I don’t just want to be at home watching it.

“Real players, when the time comes, they’re the ones that step up. I want to be that player in the big game. I want to be competing at the highest level where there’s an opportunity to win trophies. That’s where I picture myself.”

Zaha has, at times, kept Palace in the Premier League single-handily over the last two years, illustrated by the fact the Eagles have a 34.5% win ratio since the beginning of last season when he has started compared to just 14.3% when he hasn’t.

Furthermore, in that time, only Eden Hazard (284) has completed more dribbles than Zaha (214) in the Premier League.
