Monk issues hands off warning for Williams

Swansea City manager Gary Monk insists club captain Ashley Williams will not be sold this summer amid a wave of interest linking the Welsh central defender with a move away from the Liberty Stadium.

Reports have emerged suggesting Everton and Crystal Palace are on the verge of tabling a £10m bid for the 30-year-old, however Monk has reiterated his captain is not for sale.

“You can’t stop speculation or anything like that, but it’s exactly the same situation,” Monk is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News.
