Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino has laughed off speculation linking Harry Kane with a move to Manchester United.
Fresh reports this week suggested Louis van Gaal remained keen on the England international, who has four league goals to his name this season.
However, when mentioned of rumours suggesting United would move for Kane in January, Pochettino couldn't help but smile.
"I smile because the rumours are always there," Pochettino is quoted as saying by the London Evening Standard.
"The rumours are the rumours. Even now it is too early to start speaking about rumours, but you know in football it is normal."
Kane bagged himself a hat-trick in Spurs' recent 5-1 thumping of Bournemouth, earning him a WhoScored rating of 10 and a place in the European team of the week.
