Werder Bremen have been given a boost in their bid to beat the drop after announcing Serge Gnabry has returned to training following a knee injury.
Gnabry, 21, has been a revelation for the Bundesliga strugglers this season since joining from Arsenal last summer and his return will boost their chances of beating the drop.
The Germany international returned to training this week and now has a chance of making the squad for Bremen’s home game against Bundesliga flyers RB Leipzig on Saturday.
Bremen are only above the relegation play-off spot on goal difference along with Wolfsburg, while Gnabry has scored 32.3% of their league goals this season (10).
