Manchester United set asking price for Paul Pogba

Manchester United are determined to fend off interest in Paul Pogba from Real Madrid this summer but will listen to offers in excess of £160m, claims The Daily Mail.

Pogba reportedly does not want to waste his best years playing for an underachieving United side and wants to leave Old Trafford for the second time in his career.

The 2018 World Cup winner has been earmarked as a top transfer target by Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane this summer.

United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is adamant that Pogba will not be sold this summer but they are bracing themselves for another fight to keep him from the clutches of the biggest club in the world.

The Red Devils have invested heavily in Pogba since brokering his return from Juventus three years ago but there is a feeling from within the club the 26-year-old is having a negative influence in the dressing room.

United’s desire is to keep Pogba at the club but the Premier League giants will reportedly listen to offers in excess of £160m.

Despite Pogba’s woes this season, the United No.6 has scored 13 goals and provided nine assists in the Premier League this season.
