Liverpool turn to Spain for Mignolet replacement

Liverpool are interested in signing exciting 23-year-old goalkeeper Geronimo Rulli from Real Sociedad, according to Spanish news outlet Vozpopuli, via The Daily Express.

Rulli, who has spent the last two seasons on loan at Sociedad from Uruguayan side Deportivo Maldonado, has been dubbed as Argentina’s next No.1 man between the sticks and is expected to feature at the Olympics this summer.

The Sociedad ace has been in electric form at times this season and his performances have reportedly courted attention from Liverpool, who are on the market for a new goalkeeper to replace Simon Mignolet.
