Aston Villa have had an undisclosed bid for West Ham striker Enner Valencia rejected, according to The Daily Telegraph.
Valencia has been heavily linked with a move away from West Ham this summer and appeared at one point set for a move to Italy.
However, Slaven Bilic wants to bring in another striker before he considers letting Valencia leave, just two years after signing him for around £12m.
The 26-year-old became a fan favourite during his first season at West Ham but he has since dropped down the pecking order and was dreadful against Bournemouth in their first match at the London Stadium last weekend. He has only scored eight goals in 51 league appearances.
