Willian is still desperate to leave Chelsea this summer despite Antonio Conte’s departure, claims The Sun.
The Brazil international has been heavily linked with a move away from Chelsea but it was thought his future hinged on whether Conte stayed at the club.
Chelsea replaced Conte with Maurizio Sarri earlier this month but Willian is still intent on finding pastures new before the start of next season.
Barcelona have reportedly already had two bids for Willian turned down, while Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is also keen on a reunion.
Sarri already faces the prospect of losing Eden Hazard, while Chelsea’s new manager is also willing to sell Alvaro Morata and Michy Batshuayi to fund a move for Juventus striker Gonzalo Higuain.
Losing Willian would further deplete his options and Chelsea would be reluctant to sell the 29-year-old unless they are able to use the money raised from his departure to fund replacements.
Willian has made 166 league appearances for Chelsea since joining from Russian side Anzhi in 2013, but only 113 of those have been starts. He has played a direct hand in 45 league goals in that time.
