Barcelona are considering making a move for Luis Suarez as they look to ease the absence of star striker Luis Suarez, reports AS.
Uruguayan Suarez is out for the majority of the remainder of the season after undergoing surgery to correct a knee issue and the decision to not bring in a successor in January has left Barcelona short of options in the final third.
However, after Ousmane Dembele was effectively ruled out for the remainder of the campaign, Barcelona have applied for special dispensation to bring in a new forward.
And it's reported that Barcelona will look to Real Zaragoza forward Suarez if they are allowed to acquire a new striker.
The Colombian Suarez is on loan with the Segunda side from Watford, which may complicate matters as they look to possibly bring in another forward to help shoulder the goalscoring burden at Camp Nou.
Lucas Perez and Christhian Stuani have also been mooted as potential arrivals, but it's Suarez, who has 14 league goals to his name this term, that has emerged as a realistic target for the LaLiga champions.
