Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is tracking Sassuolo striker Gregoire Defrel, according to The Daily Mail.
Defrel, 25, has made a fine start to the season in Italy with Neroverdi and his performances have also caught the eye of Liverpool.
Wenger has already sent scouts to watch the French striker on three occasions this season and they would have been impressed by his goalscoring exploits.
In fact, Defrel has scored four goals in five league games this season from just five shots on target.
