Sunderland have announced they will be without Adnan Januzaj for at least six weeks due to an ankle injury.
Januzaj, 21, joined the Black Cats on loan from Manchester United until the end of the season but scan results have revealed he has ankle ligament damage.
The Belgian midfielder picked up the injury towards the end of Sunderland’s 3-2 defeat to Crystal Palace on Saturday and will now begin his rehabilitation work.
Only Eden Hazard (26) has completed more dribbles in the Premier League this season than Januzaj (25).
