A representative of Rennes teenage star Ousmane Dembele has denied they are in discussions with Borussia Dortmund over a summer move.
Reports from Germany earlier in the week claimed Dortmund had fended off competition from their European rivals race to sign the highly rated 18-year-old.
However, that appears far from the truth after a member of Dembele’s entourage, Badou Sambague, denied any deal or talks with the Bundesliga giants.
“There have been no discussions and there is no agreement with Dortmund,” he told Get French Football.
Dembele is currently the top goalscorer from those aged 21 and under across Europe’s top five leagues this season (12).
