Manchester United man hints at Paris Saint-Germain move

Jose Mourinho has dropped a bombshell on Manchester United after revealing he does not expect to see out the remainder of his career at Old Trafford.

The former Chelsea manager is almost at the halfway stage of his three-year contract with United and there have been reports suggesting Ed Woodward wants to hand Mourinho a new five-year deal.

However, there has reportedly been no contact between Woodward and Mourinho about a contract extension and now Mourinho has hinted at managing Paris Saint-Germain in the future.

“What I can say is that I am still a manager with questions, with ambitions, with a desire to do new things and I do not think… I am sure that I will not finish my career here [United],” Mourinho told Telefoot, via Sky Sports.

“The other day, my son who lives in London decided to go to Paris and not Manchester to watch a match. Why Paris? Because at the moment, Paris has something special. There is a magic, youthfulness and quality. It is fantastic.”

Mourinho has won the Europa League and League Cup during his brief time at United and has the Red Devils well positioned in the Premier League and Champions League this season.

United dropped two points away from league leaders Manchester City over the weekend after earning a 0-0 draw away to Liverpool on Saturday, ensuring their fine defensive record this term.

In fact, United have kept clean sheets in seven of their opening eight league games this season – two more than any other team.
