West Brom have secured the services of Ainsley Maitland-Niles on loan from Arsenal until the end of the season.
The youngster was heavily linked with a move to Wolves over the summer, but a deal failed to materialise.
Southampton were a rumoured destination for Maitland-Niles earlier in the day, however West Brom have won the race to land the 23-year-old.
"Albion have signed England international Ainsley Maitland-Niles on loan from Arsenal until the end of the season," a statement read on the club's official website.
"Maitland-Niles becomes the club’s fifth signing of the transfer window, joining Andy Lonergan, Robert Snodgrass, Mbaye Diagne and Okay Yokuşlu at The Hawthorns.
"The 23-year-old has been capped five times by the Three Lions having made his international debut back in September against Denmark in the Nations League.
"Maitland-Niles has made 64 appearances for Arsenal in the Premier League, including 11 this season, playing 121 games in total for the north Londoners since his first-team debut as a 17-year-old against Galatasaray in the UEFA Champions League in December 2014."
